Sword and Nunchaku Seminar with Shihan (師範) Lauri Jokinen
Shihan Moti Nativ April, 18, 19, 20 - 2013
Shihan Lauri Jokinen is the Dojo-Cho of Bujinkan Shinden Dojo Finland. Lauri started to train in 1987, and in 2009 Lauri Jokinen received the 15th dan from Soke Masaaki Hatsumi.
For a long time now he has been travelling to Japan several times per year. Lauri has hosted many Taikais and seminars with first-rate teachers from all over the globe in his Dojo in Finland and teaches in different European countries and all over the world on a regular basis.
Awareness, natural movements and tactics are his main focus in Bujinkan, but he considers a strong basis the most important. Lauri's training system is to make changes all the time, so the brain will learn to work and adapt.
In April, Lauri will come to Israel, following a long training period in Japan, and both Lauri and Moti will teach in the seminar primarily using the sword.
As you know, Soke Hatsumi (初見良昭) stated many times that the sword, on its different varieties, as an annual theme. I'm sure this will be another opportunity to refresh and renew knowledge of the sword skill as taught at the hombo dojo.
Lauri will also train us with Nunchaku, from basic operations to advanced techniques, as Lauri have acquired great skill using this tool.
